Fix-it helpSomething's not right? Let's fix it
Type a keyword to filter the list, or scroll through the common problems below. Each one is a short, no-panic checklist you can work through at your own pace.
- Confirm you picked your own network and typed the password exactly, capitals included.
- Restart the router: unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in and wait a minute.
- Move the TV and router closer, or try a wired Ethernet cable instead.
- Check another device on the same Wi-Fi to rule out a wider outage.
- Swap in fresh batteries the right way round.
- Clear anything blocking the line to the TV's sensor.
- Re-pair a Bluetooth remote by holding its pairing button until a light flashes.
- Point a phone camera at the remote tip and press a key — a faint light means it's sending.
- Retype your email and password slowly; on-screen keyboards invite typos.
- Use the service's "forgot password" link to reset if you're unsure.
- Look for a "sign in on your phone" code option — it's often faster.
- Only enter details on the official platform's own screen. We never ask for them.
- Press Source or Input and cycle to the correct HDMI port or the TV's home screen.
- Check the power light is solid, not blinking — the TV may be in standby.
- Reseat both ends of the HDMI and power cables firmly.
- Try a different HDMI port or cable to rule out a faulty one.
- Check the volume isn't at zero and that mute is off.
- If you use a soundbar or speakers, confirm the TV's audio output is set to them.
- Try a different source — the silence may be that one app or channel.
- Reseat the audio cable, or toggle the audio format setting if one is available.
- Give it several minutes — large updates take a while on slow connections.
- Avoid unplugging mid-update unless it has clearly stalled for a long time.
- If needed, restart the TV and re-run the update from settings.
- A wired connection often helps a stubborn update finish.
- Switch the input to the TV's own home screen with the Source button.
- Make sure the set is fully on rather than in standby.
- Power off at the wall for a minute, then on again to relaunch the wizard.
- Check the manual for a "reset setup" or "restart" option in the menu.
These are general checks that suit most TVs. For brand-specific menus, warranty, billing, or account recovery, your device maker or service provider is the right place to go. Still puzzled? Message us and we'll help you find the right guide.
