About TV Mount Wise
No. We're an independent educational resource. We aren't a manufacturer, retailer, streaming platform, or installer, and we're not endorsed by any brand. Product and platform names, where mentioned, only describe general steps.
Not at all. Every guide is free to read. We don't sell products, take bookings, or process any payments.
We can't, and we'd never ask you to share passwords or payment details. Activation and sign-in happen on your own TV and with your device maker or service provider. Our role is to explain the on-screen steps you'll do yourself.
Setup & activation
Our steps are written to be general and fit most modern smart TVs. Menu names and button positions vary by brand, so keep your set's manual and on-screen prompts nearby for the exact wording.
For basic viewing through an aerial or a connected device, often no. For smart features, apps, and account sign-in, you'll usually need Wi-Fi or a wired connection. Our setup guide and activation help cover both paths.
It depends on the platform. Some smart TVs ask for an account to unlock apps and features; others let you skip it and add one later. Any account you create belongs to the manufacturer or service, not to us.
Troubleshooting
Restart your router, move it closer to the TV, and confirm other devices can get online. If they can't either, it's likely your connection rather than the TV. Our Wi-Fi checklist walks through it.
For warranty claims, billing, hardware faults, or account recovery, contact your TV's manufacturer or your service provider directly — they can access your account and device details, which we never can.
